# Reinforced Intelligent Consensus Hub (RICH) Protocol: The “MicroStrategy” of Compute

The Reinforced Intelligent Consensus Hub (RICH) Protocol introduces a novel economic and technological model that transforms Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) computing capacity into a strategic, tokenized asset.

GPUs are a core component in the rise of Artificial Intelligence from powering Large Language Models (LLMs) to supporting the growth of AI agents, and enabling scientists to push the boundaries of Decentralized Science (DeSci) - **$rich will empower it all**. Through a self-reinforcing cycle, $rich token holders drive the acquisition of GPUs, boosting platform utility, generates revenue, and delivers returns to stakers—further motivating reinvestment and continuous growth into the $rich ecosystem.

This paper provides a high-level framework for the protocol, the **RICH Operating System, advanced API capabilities** and **$rich token flywheel model**. It then outlines the GPU scarcity challenge we are facing, multiple GPU compute use cases, and ends with an outlook of the protocol.

**See RICH whitepaper below for more information about the project.**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://richprotocol.gitbook.io/richprotocol/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
